Promiseland is for children in Kindergarten through fifth grade. The evening begins with a large group storytelling session that creatively brings bible stories alive and helps children relate to God's teachings. The evening continues in a small group setting, where each child is intentionally shepherded by an adult committed to using his/her shepherding gift. The evening concludes with a time dedicating to worshipping God through music, movement, and creative expression.
We have implemented some additional components to our Promiseland activities to further guide our children on the right path:
- Our Path Points programs motivates our children to continue developing the disciplines of scripture memorization and Bible reading. Parents and shepherds partner together to instill the love of these disciplines and help their children hide God's Word in their hearts and use them to light their path!
- Service Projects are opportunities for our children to learn humility, impact the world around us, and share the love of Christ through various outreach and service projects. Several service projects are planned throughout the year.
